So then I started the task list on the wiki that Clayton mentions. We have not been assigning chapters to people, mainly because most contributors don't feel comfortable working on topics they are not at least somewhat familiar with. This does have the unfortunate effect you notice: some chapters get a lot of attention but others get little or none. I do send occasional notes to the list asking for volunteers to work on specific neglected chapters. Finding *writers* for neglected topics has been mostly unsuccessful, despite calls for help. In some cases people show up, express enthusiasm, accept a topic, and then are not heard from again. Finding indexers has been a similar problem. Fortunately we have several good reviewers and editors.
