Can anybody explain the difference between Frames and Objects in Writer?

Or point me to where to fine the answer?

Frames are one type of object. Graphics, formulas, charts, sounds,
videos, and OLE-objects are others. I think that, from a programming
point of view, a paragraph of text may be an object, but I'm not sure
about that. TJ or someone may be able to give a better definition.

Objects are "things" (for lack of a better word) that can be selected
and acted upon by commands in the program. Each type of object has its
own set of commands (many commands operate on several types of object).

What are you trying to do?

Thanks for the reply. I saw a messages on one of the forums that ask the question. I did a quick scan of the wiki but could not find what I though was a good explanation.
