The file I made available previously is actually Chapter 2 of the guide to producing OOo user guides, as you'll see if you read it.
Here is a partial draft of Chapter 1, working title "Introducing OOoAuthors". It covers the relationship between OOoAuthors and OOo Docs, how to join OOoAuthors (logins, mailing lists), first steps, and using the OOoAuthors website. The unwritten section is about using the OOo Docs wiki. I'm not sure when I'll have time to write the bit about the wiki, but I thought people might benefit from reading the rest of the chapter, so I've uploaded and submitted it for review. As usual, tell me what I've left out -- what do you want to know that isn't in there? http://www.oooauthors.org/english/userguide3/res3/intro-oooauthors.odt/view More chapters to come, as I go through my notes. All of this is intended to replace the incomplete and often out of date files on the website that I've not made time to deal with over the past several years.
