Hello! I'm writing to introduce myself and offer myself up as a volunteer for
this project. I currently work in IT as a network engineer, but have a degree
in English and very strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. I'd like
to help out with OOo documentation both to improve my technical writing, and to
give something back in thanks for this fantastic product which I've benefited
from quite a bit. (I should add that I noticed in the archives someone
mentioned the need for indexers; I have a master's degree in library science
and did a whole class on indexing as part of my degree, but that was quite a
while ago and my skills are rusty... I might be able to polish them up with
time and help out there as well.)

I'm still wading through the information on the website and in the archives to
get a sense of where you most need help, but I'm very excited to join in!
