Further thoughts... After looking more closely at the chapter, I noticed that many of the numbers were at the beginning of sentences, where spelled-out numbers are usually required. In those cases, I would normally revise the sentence so the number is not at the beginning. However, I then realised that most of the numbers should be deleted completely because they referred to how many master pages, layouts, table designs, and so on are shipped with OOo.
