To be honest with you I have been waiting for the official release of
OOo3.3.0 (I guess it is the first time we got up to RC7) before starting
to work on IG 3.3.
Considering the major changes to the UI (Reinassance project) and
management of media files for Linux (finally gstreamer will be used)
that will arrive with OOo3.4.0, for OOo3.3.0 I am thinking of taking it
easy by only doing:
a) restructuring of chapters as discussed already during the publication
of IG 3.2
b) documentation of the new way slide layout work (only significant change)
c) clean up of references as a result of a)
Thanks to the work already done for the Impress chapter of the version
3.3 of the GS guide I think we will be in a good position to have the
Impress guide ready by end of 2010.
