The templates are separate and different.
I just checked the link you provided and the template found there is in
fact the OpenOffice.org template (as it should be), not the LibreOffice
one.

Actually... It was late and the uninstallation of 3.4 removed all the
OOo 3.3 file associations, icons, etc. and replaced them with those from
LibreOffice. I was not expecting to see a LibreOffice splashscreen
opening when I downloaded an OOo template.
