Several chapters of the Impress Guide are on the Review List; you could
review them. We're in the final stages of publishing that guide, so
you'll need to be quick before I do my infamous "publish now, ready or
not" act. ;-)

Another possibility is to install OOo 3.4 beta, find out what the new or
changed features for v3.4 (should be on the OOo wiki), and start
updating any chapters that need to be changed. (We usually start with
the Getting Started guide.) You might find this a bit more daunting,
being tossed in at the deep end.

A third possibility is to join the LibreOffice Documentation Team and
work on LibO user guides. That is where I am putting most of my effort
these days, btw, and Martin is concentrating his Draw Guide update
efforts on LibreOffice. I think some others of the "old guard" here
either have a foot in both camps or are working mostly on LibO docs.
