I'm not a good artist. I would love to see you make changes to it. Try to fix it a bit. I don't have my heart set on it. I'm just brainstorming.
What I'd like is a design that "goes well" with the front cover. That has the same theme. But doesn't duplicate it. Each book will have one front cover, but several chapter title pages. I think there should be some sort of visual hierarchy. So the front cover is more visually prominent, and the chapter title pages simpler.
What would you suggest to accomplish that? Can you suggest a change to the design to meet those goals?
Daniel, I think you actually do have a really good eye for design.
But you and Linda working together are an *awesome* team. The way you two worked out the cover design was a joy to watch. Sure, some other people (including me) contributed comments, but you guys were the main players. We've got some time... let's keep brainstorming.
