I really think the search box regardless needs to be for each language
not on the main page for en only. We want all visitors to be able to
search. If you want a quick down and dirty you can do this with
Google code for each language on their respective start pages.
The feather should also be bigger and more in the middle of the circle.
I really like the new look Daniel. I am not being critical. Just
offering some experienced suggestions. :-)

Once again:
Plone is multilingual !!! Let Plone do the work...
My suggestion is:
*put the new design inside the frame of the plone-Structure
(The user will have alls tabs, sidebars footers is his own language)
*create plonedefaults for the most important pages, like news,
introducing the work of oooauthors ...
(The User will have the content in his own language, if their someone
is, who will translate it...)
*put the icons with the links and benefits in the default header
(replace plone powerde with hosted by entough) and page footer (OOo
Ingots and so on)
(This is more corporate design for all pages)
If you want, I ca deliver a demo of my suggestion tomorrow. But I will
only will do this, if you like my idea, because it's more than create a
single page... :-)
