I don't mean to give more work to translators. But over-all I think it'll be easier for everyone. When a chapter gets updated, it will generally include changes from many many people. A lot of deletions, then insertions, then re-deletions. This makes the document very unwildly, slow to load, and harder to manage for both the maintainer of the original copy and the translator.

Using "compare document" you can get a "clean" set of changes.


That was my reasoning when I updated the published chapter without recording changes.
