Heh, heh. I should propose a talk based on my book "Is the Help Helpful? How to Produce Online Help That Meets Your User's Needs" aimed at open-source people who want to market their product to a wider audience than geeks, and who expect and need a different sort of help than I usually see for open-source software.
Hmmm... perhaps I should have proposed a talk on that topic for OOoCon2005. The help to OOo has improved vastly since I first saw it in V1.0 (and is much better than many help systems I have seen), but it still needs much work before it's really good for the wide range of users we are attracting now. Indeed, if I could run myself in parallel processing mode, I'd tackle a major edit and reorganisation of the OOo help files. ;-)
Cheers, Jean
