Hi Jean,
I do not have the permission to edit the front page. May you please
copy and paste it for me? Chinese = 中文
Thanks!
Best Regards,
Pui Lam Wong

Daniel,
I found your notes on "How to configure a top-level language directory".
I assume that a folder for Chinese would have an ID of "zh". However,
I'm not sure how to enter the title, as I don't have Chinese fonts on my
system. Would it work for me to title it "Chinese", and let Pui Lam Wong
change the title later? How was this done for Japanese and Korean?
Also, once the Chinese sub-project is set up and running, we will need
to add a link for it to the site's Home page, which might require
reorganizing the design.
Janet, you or I (or anyone) can add a text link to the Chinese section from the
site's Home page -- in fact, I've just done that, but the link uses English
characters. I don't know how to put Chinese characters in there. Perhaps Pui
Lam Wong can do it using http://oooauthors.org/index.html/file_edit_form
The Home page graphic needs updating, because it doesn't have a link to the
Italian section of the site, either. So now might be a good time to fix that,
and add the Chinese as well.
Daniel, I know you've been too busy with other things to deal with updating the
graphic, and it's not exactly urgent. If you could make the original artwork
available (I could only find a PNG on the website), I could see about updating
it (including the image map) myself, though probably not soon. I can use the
excuse to learn how to put in Chinese characters. :-)
Cheers, Jean
