Hi Peter,
I notice that the Calc Guide chapters you have published recently still
have the draft filenames. Published files should have the dates and
initials removed, to indicate that they are published, not drafts. Thanks!
Peter,
I've been fixing some other things in the files that I forgot to
tell you about. When I upload the changed files, I'm also
changing the filenames to the correct ones.
On the copyright page:
* The reference to CC 2.0 license needs to be updated to CC 2.5
* The reference to GPL, which is in a field, should be made into
ordinary text and the URL made into a hyperlink
* Please don't use a field for the publication date. If anyone
(eg me) opens the file just to look at it, the field updates to
today's date, which is wrong unless the file is then edited and
resaved. For reading purposes, people will want to know the real
publication date. Where I find these fields, I'm changing them to
the actual publication date.
While I have the files open, I'm scrolling through them to see if
there are bad page breaks or other obvious problems, and making
corrections if I spot them. I'm not doing a proper review, so I'm
not resubmitting these files to you for approval, just
republishing them.
Last but not least -- thanks again for getting all these done!
Cheers, Jean
