Hi I am rather new to the authors group and i am trying to find my way around on the oooauthors site. This did not go smoothly, and it still does not.
Many times i have problems which look like if there are DNS problems: site not found etc. (error messages like : Unknown host oooauthors.org) Likewise i could not send email to addresses mentioned on the site (and register) with problems indicating a problems with the name resolution Now again i cannot find parts of the site I ran a whois and i was amazed to see that the DNS server is on a dynamic dns server: is this meant to be ? Or is this part of the spam hacks there apparently were before ? If i check : see below the enthought has a server and a dns service properly setup .. But for one or the other reason there is a dynamic dns in between I do not know the reason why: But a system administrator who as access to the proper dns servers can check the real meaning I Thing just proper setup of the alias in : Name Server.......... ns2.netaquifer.net Name Server.......... ns1.scipy.org Name Server.......... ns0.scipy.org would solve the not found problems ?
