How about: you want to have "title" slides in the middle of the
presentation, to signal major transitions in focus, such as "The
Problem" and "The Solution". You want the "title" slides to have a
different background from the regular content slides.
A common use case would be several (hopefully short) presentations (by
different speakers) in one session. Thus a single "Next slide" advances
to the next topic, without the hassles of searching another presentation
file while talking to th listeners at the same time.
