This is a good time to discuss whether to delete the whole UserGuide1 section (the docs for OOo1.x). They are all stored on the OOo Docs Project website (in both .sxw and .pdf form), and we are not updating them, so a copy at OOoAuthors probably isn't needed. What do other people think?

If, copies exist elsewhere, remove them now.

Ditto. I never once visited any version uno docs. Why keep any posted, especially at this late date? The same could be said for version zwei at some not-too-distantly future date.

Okay, I've nuked 'em. I left the high-level folder with a note saying where the files are on the OOo Docs site, but otherwise empty.

Why keep copies at this late date? Because there are people still using 1.1.5, so IMO having copies of the 1.x docs somewhere is a service to those users. But the OOo Docs website is the logical place for such old documentation, not our site.

No doubt people will continue to use 2.x long after 3.0 comes out, so the 2.x docs will need to be archived somewhere too when the time comes. That's a trifle more complicated, since OOo won't allow us to put the ODT files on their website; we can only put the PDFs there.

The OOoAuthors site states that it's a "development" site for OOo documentation.

So, it doesn't make much sense for our keeping archives. That would be history--not development. So, if server space is short and no more work on them will occur--boot them.
