I have taken a closer look and two of the extension improvements are
probably not going to be visible to the end user.
The important ones therefore are
78209 <http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=78209> : Extension
Manager: "Get Extensions" link
which is actually going to be added to the extensions manager in the GUI
75869 <http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=75869> : Options
Dialog for Extensions
which allows an extension to modify the options dialog. The guide should
explain that options for the extension will appear in the options dialog
which therefore won't be "standard"

BTW: is the extension manager covered at all? If I remember correctly this
already existed in version 2.0 possibly earlier.

Cheers,

Michele
