So, its quite complicated. But possible.
I didn't understand a word of that article, I must admit.
I know a very easy way to have any version of OOo downloaded from
the OOo website running on Ubuntu alongside the OOo that comes
with Ubuntu. I'll look for the method and post it here if anyone
is interested.
