I know the m4 macro processing to be quite sophisticated but what would be your idea about the _best_ way to allow dualmode macros? Something like ifelse(autoconf, 2.13, ac_path_prog(x), ac_path_tool(x)), or some ifdef variant, or whatever ... what could be the _recommendend_ style?
