Liebe Teilnehmer,
es würde mich wundern, wenn mein Problem nicht schon aufgetaucht wäre: Kann
man die Autotools auch zu einer angepassten Installation von Programmen unter
Windows verwenden?
Es geht um Java-Pakte, deren Installation vom Vorhandensein bestimmter anderer
Programme auf dem Zielrechner abhängig ist. Manche jar-Archive sollen je nach
Vorhandensein dieser anderen Programme installiert werden oder nicht - oder
der Benutzer aufgefordert, erst die fehlenden Programme nachzuinstallieren.
Soweit ich sehe, ließe 'configure' sich gut zum Testen der Bedingungen
verwenden, doch kann man die Fähigkeit, ein sh-Skript unter
MSWindows zu starten, üblicherweise ja nicht voraussetzen.
Gibt es hier eine Lösung?

I would be astonished, if my problem should not already have appeared on this
list: Is it possible to use Autotools also for an adapted installation of
programs under MSWindows?
Java-jars should be installed under condition of presence/absence of certain
other applications on the Windows-machine - or the user should be asked to
first install the necessary applications.
As far as I see, it should be fine to use 'configure' for testing of the
conditions. But usually, we cannot suppose the ability to start an sh-script
on a Windows-machine.
Does anyone of you know an appropriate solution?
