majordomo has some gui's... ( wilma, majorcool, etc.etc..

i have 3 years worth of autofs archives... but in a single
(yearly) file...
( didnt break it down into separate file per emails
donno where else there is an autofs archive...
besides on linux.kernel.org...
i've played with mailman... i still prefer majordomo
( some old habits are hard to break ...
( easier for me tosetup mj than mailman...faster/simpler
mj also supports *-request etc... and passwd and confirmations
( just need to configure it that way
virtual domains (multiple mailing lists) on a single machine can be a
little whacky .. esp if you want outgoing emails to be coming
from lists.foo.com and lists.bar.com and lists.xyz.com
and hide the real machine name... ( havent found a way to hide that
its a virtual domain/host )
- easy enough to make a web page too for autofs mailing list
subscribe/unsubscribe...
- doesn't need to change mailing list software to do it
- think the problem is we'd/you'd need to create a
virtual machine for autofs and everything can be fixed/solved
more easily..
maybe a machine called autofs.kernel.org will help resolve
most of the problems ??? where various volunteers can keep it
up to date ??
