[Q] support for AC_CONFIG_FILES

                Hi!

        The latest cvs'ed automake doesn't appear to support autoconf's
AC_CONFIG_FILES. I've seen an old thread about this (jan 2000) in the
archives, but is there a patch in the queue for this ?
