I thought that if you defined something conditionally, you were supposed to put it in an EXTRA_PRIMARY definition too, so that automake knew the full set of stuff that might be built. After all, lib_LTLIBRARIES might just as easily be an @libobject@ autoconf substitution, where automake won't know what might be built. Or, should EXTRA_PRIMARY only be used for this type of conditional?
