Just to call your attention :)

Now, I'd like to remember you guys that everybody in the maintainers
group on github (you know who you are), are free to push stuff to the
next branch. Just a few things:

* Obviously, do your due diligence (use check_patch.py, try to do some
testing). Do things with care.
* Make sure patches that go into it have appeared in the mailing list or
github pull requests before. Sending it with git-send-email is fine.
* Please make sure the commit messages are properly written (I'll chop
commit messages incomplete, with missing signed-off-by: lines and such).
* next is *not* supposed to be a fast forward branch. Patches might be
dropped if they are causing problems in testing.

So, feel at home, and let's do some work,
