You flatter me too much ;P

Seriously, my knowledge and insight have shown me that I don't know
everything.  I did want your input, so that we can get the best design.
Let me sit on it for a little bit (I have some paid work I need to do),
and I will post another email listing our options, their pros and cons,
and then we can get some informed opinions on which balance is best.
Now, if only I could get Peter D. in on it as well....  Anyway, once
we get the informed opinions we will commit the interfaces.  Who
knows, what we come up with for the Manipulator may make it completely
identical to the Output, with the only differentiation being the purpose
of the component.

It would be interesting to get Stephen's spin on it as well since his
meta info stuff is pretty cool.  We might be able to connect them in the
container, in which case what Kevin last proposed would work without a
separate "registration" method.  The only downside is that we are
relying
on black magick which may work, but I would need help explaining it.
