Quite - possibly - someone is approaching Doug Lea to bring that stuff to
Apache ;)
However PooledExecutor doesn't really do what I need. The reason is that
you need to be able to control threads across protection boundaries and
also allow cross boundary exception pass offs - which IIRC util.concurrent
doesn't do ;)
