In my view the following features would be required before I would feel
comfortable going beta.

1. Rework excalibur.thread.* like previously discussed.
2. Full Management interface (server end almost there) and clean
interaction between applications and management interface. Requires (1).
Time: <10hrs.
3. Management Console/Client Interface. (CLI version and optionally a GUI
version). Requires (2). Time: ???.
4. Rework kernel so that thread boundaries are respected and secure.
Requires (1). Time: 3hrs.
5. Rework kernel so that services are offered via proxied interfaces. Time:
???. (Could be short job or long one)
6. Specify and implement a VFS like mechanism so .sar files don't have to
be unjarred. Time: 3hrs if we take quick and easy path.
7. Rework kernel so that Facility providers can be other SARs. Requires:
(1). Time: <7hrs
8. Rework Management and Logging Facilities so that they are provided by
SARs. Requires: (7). Time: 1hr
9. Determine and asses if we need a naming service, if so implement using
cadestre. Requires: (7)+(2). Time: ????.
10. Clean up log messages so they are nicer for admin (rather than developer).

Anyways thats what I see as required.

Cheers,

Pete
