I've just started digging into Avalon and Cocoon. I've read all the docs
and looked over a lot of the source code. I'm curious to know more about
how you think the Monitor framework would emulate, if not override Cocoon.
Could you either explain a bit or point me to packages that perform the role
of monitoring now?

Hopefully the framework will be generic enough for all that. My first
concern
is having a foundation that can handle alot of what Cocoon code does
manually
now. Its premise is we are monitoring things that change content. I.e. if
the content of a resource has changed since time X.
All specific types of resources extend the Resource or StreamResource
abstract
classes.
