I consider 29 secs waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to long. My philosophy is
basically always run unit tests when compiling (excluding profiling or ones
that don't run on system - like ones with hardwired DB tables). So I consider
3 seconds pushing the bounds of acceptability ;)
