One more problem with Singleton -
As mentioned in this thread, they are per classloader (or visible in a
classloader hierarchy). At the moment phoenix places all blocks for one
SAR file in one classloader. There are good architectural and security
reasons that we might want to change that in the future. If we do, some
singletons become invisible to some blocks, just because a user upgraded
Avalon.
