I think the best approach is to create a simple EJB application and to incorporate as much as possible. When we have that we can write another chapter for Berin's "Developing with Avalon" based on the sample. I've got two weeks of vacation starting mid-April. I will see if I can devote a couple of days to do this. But you're welcome to help! Maybe Vincent has time to help, too. He's probably the most competent in this respect, at the moment.
