Hello, As you know, the org.apache.avalon.framework.logger.Log4JLogger constructor receives org.apache.log4j.Category as a parameter.
In the newer version of log4j (1.2 beta4, now online) it is mentioned that org.apache.log4j.Category will be deprecated. - Is there intention to update the Log4JLogger accordingly? (I can take NO for an answer and than I'll use the Catalog class).
