The last official vote we had, and liked the results was when
we had the http://jakart.apache.org/avalon/index.html skin.
Most of the site (with a few exceptions) follow that look.  The
fact that we have *LOST* that skin is bad.  (yes I know it's in
CVS archives, but after I find it I have to integrate it into the
skins...).  That jakarta-site skin is not like the rest of jakarta
or what we used to have.

I don't really want Avalon to look like it is completely disjunct
from Jakarta, it's hosting project.  I don't think it is appropriate.
We can deviate where it makes sense, but what is in the avalon-site
makes it look like we belong to the krysalis project.

Why didn't we work with what we had, and evolve that?  If we came
up with several skins, we should have voted before it was put in
place.
