Hi Berin,

        Merlin version 2 (what we're looking at merging with) is in the
        'assembly' directory. The 'merlin' directory AFAIK is version 1 which
        Stephen mentioned to me once is soon to be outdated by version 2.
        
        I also found the documentation he had on home.osm.net/docs/merlin
        to be quite useful in explaining how things work.
