Stephen forked CK, so it is not surprising that they are similar. If a new
idea comes out of Merlin that is useful then it will be cloned in CK but at
this stage the ideas are things already planned a long time (mainly derived
from CSF or early CK discussions).
However while the fork exists there is not alot of motivation to try to reuse
anything so the chips lie where they lay and progress continues.
CK will soon adopt notion of Partitions (in progress), dynamic assembly
(mostly done) and separate containers per partition (not really started yet).
At that stage there will only be minor differences between the containers
feature sets and Phoenix will thus inherit these features.
