The unreleased 2.1 version has switched to LogEnabled though (at least partially, it will still need to support Loggable components that users may have).
As long as Cocoon does not change the contracts for its pipeline interfaces to its users, there may be little need for users to modify their custom components and thus Cocoon would need to continue to support Loggable components for backwards-compatibility, at least initially.
