I think the gump descriptor for excalibur needs to be modified to set
the jakarta-site variable to something sensible. But where is
jakarta-site in the gump setup?

is this because jakarta-site lib contains the regex libs, which can be
found, or because the dependency is not declared?

call me a beignet but I'm still a bit of a gump-illeterate.
