Sorry for the delay, I was on holiday. I just updated phoenix and cornerstone, and nothing has changed. Here goes phoenix.log: Tue Jul 10 11:36:15 CEST 2001 [INFO ] <<Phoenix>> (main): Logger started Tue Jul 10 11:36:21 CEST 2001 [INFO ] <<Phoenix>> (main): Deploying Sar file ( /denic/application/avalon/apps/writeSocket.sar) as writeSocket Tue Jul 10 11:36:22 CEST 2001 [INFO ] <<Phoenix>> (main): deploying from archi ve (/denic/application/avalon/apps/writeSocket.sar) expanded into directory /den ic/application/avalon/apps/writeSocket Tue Jul 10 11:36:26 CEST 2001 [INFO ] <<Phoenix>> (main): Deploying Sar file ( /denic/application/avalon/apps/cloader.sar) as cloader Tue Jul 10 11:36:29 CEST 2001 [INFO ] <<Phoenix>> (main): deploying from archi ve (/denic/application/avalon/apps/cloader.sar) expanded into directory /denic/a pplication/avalon/apps/cloader Here goes the log of the application which does not get load: Tue Jul 10 11:36:25 CEST 2001 [DEBUG ] <<writeSocket.<core>.policy>> (main): cr eatePermissionSetFor(file:/denic/application/avalon/apps/writeSocket/blocks/*); Tue Jul 10 11:36:25 CEST 2001 [DEBUG ] <<writeSocket.<core>.policy>> (main): cr eatePermissionSetFor(file:/denic/application/avalon/apps/writeSocket/lib/*); Tue Jul 10 11:36:25 CEST 2001 [DEBUG ] <<writeSocket.<core>.policy>> (main): cr eatePermissionSetFor(file:/-); As I said, both applications work separately. I have a workaround in order to make them work together: to pack them in the same sar file, but I find this quite dirty. Indeed, separate ClassLoaders for all classes that are not shared sounds like the elegant solution. But if it is too much work, you can just leave it in the To-Do list.
