This is so neat (if it works) Apache should kickoff a dynamic class generation API of their own (BCEL's jar contains GNU regexp and is LGPL).
fyi BCEL is in the process of being moved to Jarkarta, first "apache" version available here ftp://ftp.inf.fu-berlin.de/pub/BCEL/jakarta/BCEL.tar.gz
