http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=8649 Add start/stop Phoenix Scripts ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-09-14 16:38 ------- There's a simple example that's shuts Phoenix down using JMX in guide- administrator.xml. Even so, it doesn't add much over just pressing Control-C. I think requiring the wrapper would be a good idea for these features. - It ensures that *everything* gets logged (very useful) - It will force a shutdown if one of the blocks hangs for X seconds (I forget the precise number. 10-30 I think) in destroy() or stop() or something. That way, you can insure that it will actually stop when you tell it to. - Of couse, it allows out-of-the-box NT service support. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
