Hello,
I've tried to make qtvidcap and qtrecompress work on my computer since a few
days now and it always hangs up when it tries to encode videos (for A lot of
formats).
I've seen a previous message on this problem, but no anwer.
qtrecompress hangs up on the recompression progress window and qtvidcap hangs
up when I hit the stop buttton.
Here's a example of output of qtrecompress :

I used this week end's last snapshot of the CVS (I've also tried the 0.53.5
version, but I have the same problem).
I tried the two programs using qt-2.3.0 and qt-2.2.4, gcc-2.96, a kernel
version of 2.4.1-ac5 and the standard redhat-7.0 libpthread.
Apparently it looks that there's a thread problem (threads waiting for a
signal).
Did anyone came across the same problem ? What do I have to do to make it
work ?
