In one part of the website it mentions that there's an OpenDivX plugin for AVIfile, but whne I look for it, it's nowhere to be found. I'm interested in it because I have a few movies that were compressed with DivX4Win 4.0 Alpha 50, that won't play under AVIfile. The audio works, but there is no video. I have a full Windows 98 install in another partition with the codec needed to compress and decompress this format. Is there a way to use that codec, as AVIfile does with the others normally included with it? It's a very fast decoder (but very slow encoding) with automatic quality control (or at least, I can't figure out how to change the setting in Windows). Speaking of audio, I think something is not being handled right when ESounD is running - the sound has a very high pitched ringing sound to it, like it's being re-sampled to a very low sample rate of around 6-8 kHz, and the machine seems to run considerably slower (20-30% slower at least). I run ESD at 44.1 kHz, 16-bit. Is there a fix? When I hit send, this message may bounce back to me with a "we do not relay" message from prak.org. My first one did, so I assume it never went to the list. -- .----------------------------------- /7Z@| __ | [EMAIL PROTECTED] |// |_/ | C64/C128 - What's *YOUR* Hobby!? | \__ |_\ `----------------------------------- \___| _______________________________________________ Avifile mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://prak.org/mailman/listinfo/avifile
