I experience this effect too. I wonder if it has something to do with
scaling because I played around a bit and made following observation (would
be interesting if you could confirm it...):
In 1x windowed mode there is no flickering green line. If I resize the
window manually it appears at some window-sizes but playing around a bit
there are some window-sizes where it disappears again. In fullscreen it is
unfortunately with almost every movie visible...
I hope you understand my clumsy description....:-)
