No, this is because you have environment variable CFLAGS set to
something other than empty string. Make a 'unset CFLAGS' and repeat
the process ( I am not 100% sure that it's enough to rerun 'make' to
fix that, maybe you'll need to rerun 'configure' ). Hope this helps.
