Hello all,

I am smashing my brain and my patience since April 2001 to find a movie
player that could run in a decent way on Linux.
Sincerely, there are a lot, but no one is working normally.
I have tested xmms,xmps,lamp,aviplay,mplayer,xine,videolan,xanim,gtv, Aktion.

Please allow me to put a normal, human question:

Does somebody know SUCH GOOD MOVIE PLAYER for Linux?
A player that could handle without any problems avi (normal and DivX) and
another formats?
A player that could be compiled without making your day off, without
try to kill your own equipments because of programmers bugs ?

If so, please leave a note to my private address ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) -
I will be grateful.

Please belive me, this is the second time when I am writting on this list -
and I am doing this because I am at the end of my resources in the seek of
a simple, decent movie player for Linux.

I am sick and tired about bugs, crashes and any other stuff like.
At least, if the programmers are releasing a product, they first should
test more their software. Well, you'll tell it's free and is non-windoze;
OK, I don't like Windoze, but why, after so many years, we cannot find
anything decent at the "Movie players" chapter for Linux ?!

Bye and all the best,
Cezar Werner
