Which you may of course try to use - I have spent quite a few hours on this
so at least someone will use it :)
Try to change resampling frequency to slightly different number than
playing one - e.g. 44000 - and play with 44100
As soon as I will figure out how to do correct timing with audio stream
from sound card I'll do it - but the version which I've removed
has had unpleasent 'back to the future' effect e.g. the clock was jumping
randomly 10ms forward backward - and its really hard to make
any reasonable good schedulling system - you may look at mplayer it you
want to see such an example.
So far only Maestro sound card seems to have such problem, so I wouldn't
affraid about the precision of sound card clock.
On the other hand - 'there is something about xine'....
