Hello Zdenek,
this evening I've found some free time for avifile.
In file: ./plugins/libdivx4/Makefille.am in last row (test_LDFLAGS) I added
-lXxf86vm switch.
It compiled like dream, and works great ! Nice peace of software.
Keep up a good working for the open source community !
