Got exactly the same problem right now.
mpeg2divx and other divx encoding programs produce nothing but segfaults.
(Actually, it looks as if avifile was generating an Segfault error...
but it's some old pre-compiled version I downloaded somwhere -
I still can't compile the source tarballs... :(
I've got two streams, the encoded video and encoded audio (DivX/MP3).
How do I make an AVI file out of it?
