Well so I'll have aproximately 10 implementation of rgb<->yuv 
and when there is newer and faster implementation I'll have to
rework a lot of the code - what a great idea :)...

yes that's the main problem - if it would be accepted by at least
these three player I guess we could make it 'as a standard'

right now it's still and the initial alpha stage - and looking for
possible problem - so maybe if that would be considered as a good thing
a lot of code could be moved there and simplifying development
of various other tools
